Client: MODU™ sells high-quality pet grooming tools that make at-home grooming fun, stress-free, and affordable. They have a friendly, relatable, empathetic tone, and their target audience is loving, savvy pet owners, ages 20-60, dedicated to grooming their beloved animals at home and looking for the right tools to make the process easy and enjoyable for themselves and their pets.
Challenges/Needs: Homepage callout of their participation and recent wins at the Canadian Pet Expo; new product descriptions that establish connection and trust with visitors (a “we get you because we’re like you” vibe); updated shipping/returns/warranty copy to reduce friction and returns/exchanges; other copy tweaks throughout their website.
Solutions:
I highlighted the positive feedback and reviews from groomers and pet parents at the expo and capitalized on the top homepage placement by including a heartfelt, engaging paragraph that expresses the company’s love for their own pets and dedication to helping pet parents.
The product descriptions were written with a conversational, “we’ve all been there” approach, and hit on pet owners’ pain points, while expressing their desires for stress-free at-home grooming.
UVP copy conveys the value of the flagship product’s unique features as concisely as possible, and the corresponding icons were chosen to convey the same via visuals.
In addition to adding the “You Might Also Like” heading above the upsell carousel (where there was previously nothing), I updated product description upsell copy to accurately capture the brand’s voice and tone.
Shipping, returns/exchanges and warranty information was carefully laid out employing user experience and CRO methods to reduce friction and optimize for conversions.

Thank you for choosing our pet dryer to keep your furry loved one clean and dry. We are committed to providing you with a quality product that enhances the grooming process for you and your pet.
In the unlikely event that you experience any defects in materials or workmanship with your pet dryer within the first year of purchase, we will repair or replace it free of charge.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. This warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date you receive your product.
2. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship only. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents or unauthorized repairs.
3. Repair or replacement under this warranty does not extend the original warranty period.
4. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
5. All warranty claims must be submitted here with photos of your item and your order number. Do not dispose of any defective items; we will need them to assess your claim and will be unable to process your claim without them.
6. We reserve the right to deny claims that we believe are abusing this policy.
EXCLUSIONS
1. Damage caused by improper maintenance or use. Please make sure to read the instructions manual before using the pet dryer.
2. Damage caused by power surges, lightning, floods or other natural disasters.
3. Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs.
HOW TO INITIATE WARRANTY
In the event that your pet dryer requires warranty service, please contact our customer service team at info@modu.pet. Please include your order number in the subject line as well as photos and videos of your product. If your pet dryer needs to be replaced, you will receive a discount code to order a new one free of charge. *Please note that shipping will not be included for warranty orders at this time.

Please allow us 1-2 business days to process your order. Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive an email with shipping confirmation details. Orders placed before 12 p.m. Eastern Time will be processed the same day.
DELIVERY
Free standard shipping is available for all orders over $100 CAD/$72 USD.
Please note that we do NOT ship outside of Canada and the United States at this time.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of MODU's control:
Canadian orders can be expected to arrive in 1-4 business days.
US orders can be expected to arrive in 3-7 business days.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which it was received, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at info@modu.pet. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR ORDER?Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if any of the items are defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Please note that used products are not eligible for return due to sanitary reasons. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and then let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, we will automatically credit your refund to the original form of payment within 10 business days.
Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
